- The consonant و is pronounced from lips which is the articulation point of a waaw و .
- But vowel waaw و is pronounced from empty part of mouth which is the articulation point of madd.
- Consonant waaw can carry all three signs of Arabic {ftha ,ksra,dumma} .But for vowel waaw must followed by dumma. As if it does not followed by dumma it does not make vowel{waaw madda}.
